Don"t Hate, Congratulate
It can be difficult to remain supportive when it seems like everyone around you is getting the big breaks and it seems you're not advancing to the next level.
In-spite of the way it seems, we must continue to be a good sport.
Your coworker may land that big promotion that you've worked so hard for but instead of getting envious or throwing a pity party, let them know that you are happy for them and show your support.
There is a favorite saying of mine that says, "Don't hate; congratulate.
" It's a catchy phrase but those are definite words to live by, we should always support and congratulate those who score great achievements.
We are taught at a young age that when we lose a game we should immediately cheer on our opponent; this is a great life lesson.
Competition is a very healthy lesson that we're exposed to early in life because it teaches us that in life sometimes we win and sometimes we lose but we should never throw in the towel.
If at first you don't succeed try again.
Remember that just because you didn't win this go around, it's not a bad thing, it just means that the time is not now but don't throw in the towel, God has something greater in store for you! The word of God tells us that The race is not given to the swift nor the battle to the strong but to the one that endureth to the end.
It may seem like everyone around you is increasing and rising to a new level and you're not progressing but stay encouraged my friend keep pressing on, in due time you will land that job, or get that promotion.
That house is yours, that car is yours; In John 14:14, Jesus says "Anything you ask in my name, I will do it.
" Continue to fight the good fight of faith the victory is already yours.
The Lord will provide so keep praying, keep pressing on and remain faithful as you go through your life journey.
